Preparations for Spring Turkey Season
Scott Ellis has been hunting all game species in the southeast for over 25 years. He is a member of Quaker Boy Game Calls Pro Staff and represents Therma-cell insect repellent, Tru-glo and CVA muzzloaders and is on the staff of Realtree Camo. As well, he is a three-time Florida State Turkey Calling Champion, two-time Florida State Gobbling Champion and 2006 Southern Open Turkey Calling Champion. He has place in over 20 other competitions. After a little internet searching, reading, and checking up on this stuff I found it’s a pretty well established product in Canada and hails from Quebec where they have this funny habit of speaking a lot of French. Thus the name, Jig-A-Loo, and the company’s claim it derives from a saying they have up north, “I’ve got it!”
