Blaine Cardilli has been a typical “Maine Outdoorsman” most of his life, and enjoys hunting and fishing throughout New England. A freelance outdoor writer and columnist, he is also a member of the “Hunters Specialties” prostaff, vice president of the Midcoast Maine Chapter of the NWTF, and part of the hunting/filming team with “Northwoods Adventures TV”, (seen weekly on The Sportsmans Channel). Blaine has written a myriad of hunting articles for many local, regional, national and online publications over the past seven years, and also does a number of deer and turkey hunting seminars throughout the spring and fall, for HS and Northwoods TV.
Blaine is also founder and executive director of “Indian Wind Hunting Consultants”, which is a free service that provides professional hunting tips and advice to the public, via his panel of experts. By collaborating with outfitters, guides, and industry personnel from across the U.S. and Canada, all of whom have unique insights into hunting all types of North American game species, Blaine feels this service is his way of giving back to the sport of hunting. A construction contractor by trade, he stays busy most of the year but enjoys getting out to hunt and fish, his favorites being fishing for bass, both summer and winter, and hunting for whitetails, coyotes, turkeys and hogs, in several states each year.

After a little internet searching, reading, and checking up on this stuff I found it’s a pretty well established product in Canada and hails from Quebec where they have this funny habit of speaking a lot of French. Thus the name, Jig-A-Loo, and the company’s claim it derives from a saying they have up north, “I’ve got it!”
