2008 International Sportsmen’s Exposition Returning to University of Phoenix Stadium this March

Entire Spectrum of Outdoor Sports Covered at Arizona’s Largest Sportsmen’s Show

PHOENIX – Jan. 17, 2008 – If you’ve ever wanted to learn to cast or tie a fly, call elk like an expert or even “bone up” on the latest Dutch Oven cooking or bar-b-que techniques, the eighth annual International Sportsmen’s Exposition (ISE) – to be held March 7-9 at Glendale’s University of Phoenix Stadium – is the West’s premier event for everything outdoor related.

Featuring nearly 400 exhibiting companies and covering both the inside and outside of University of Phoenix Stadium, ISE brings together Arizona’s largest annual gathering of products and services representing the complete outdoor sports experience.

ISE guests can participate in a wide range of activities including:

* Planning the outdoor sports vacation of a lifetime by visiting outfitters and representatives from lodges and resorts worldwide
* Ensuring success in the field by visiting the new “Sighting-In Your Rifle” clinic
* Taking part in informative panel discussions including a “Women in the Outdoors” panel led by professional angler Tanya Kreuzer, a “Hunt Arizona” panel presented by the Arizona Deer Association and a “Fly-Fishing Arizona” panel featuring Arizona’s top guides and experts
* Experiencing outdoor sports thrills firsthand at the Youth Outdoor Sports Fair, including the Arizona Bowhunting Association shooting range and a giant catch-and-release youth fishing pond, as well as witnessing wildlife up close at the Arizona Department of Game and Fish Pavilion
* Watching Arizona’s top anglers and guides firsthand at the Aquarium Demonstration Tank
* Checking out the new Eastman Trophy Deer Display, sponsored by Realtree
* Reaching new culinary heights during Dutch Oven cooking clinics presented by the International Dutch Oven Society
* Enjoying the splash dogs, fun-loving canines that will soar for $1,000 in cash prizes.

Man’s best friend won’t be the only ISE competitors vying for valuable prizes. World champion elk caller Chad Schearer hosts the 2008 Best of the West Elk Calling Contest, while the flies will be soaring during the 2008 Best of the West Fly Casting Competition.

In addition to Schearer, an elk and black-powder authority, other experts at ISE include:

· Western public lands hunting experts Cameron Hanes (bow) and Guy Eastman (rifle)

· Lake Powell fishing guru Wayne Gustaveson

· Legendary fly fisherman Jack Dennis

· Bass professional Kent Brown
