Custom gun maker creates the most powerful, most accurate and safest muzzleloader ever built.

Princeton, KY — January 4, 2006 — Roger Joyce of Bad Bull Muzzleloaders has developed the most powerful, most accurate, and safest muzzleloader ever built.
Joyce’s Bad Bull Muzzleloader will shoot a 300 grain jacketed bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2900 FPS. It will also fire a 200 grain Sabot at an incredible muzzle velocity of 3150 fps — velocities unheard of in muzzleloading until now. The 300 grain bullet fired at 2900 fps has a muzzle energy of 5600 ft/lbs energy. This power is attained through the use of smokeless powder and Bad Bull’s patented Mag-Prime Ignition System. To make Bad Bull easier on the shoulder, they are equipped with recoil reducing muzzle brakes and recoil pads.

Accuracy was foremost in Joyce’s mind when he designed Bad Bull Muzzleloaders. The result: true MOA accuracy. Select Shilen stainless steel barrels, a unique one-step pillar bedding process and the latest accuracy techniques make Bad Bull Muzzleloaders the most accurate muzzleloaders ever built.

Bad Bull Muzzleloaders are also designed to be the safest muzzleloaders available to shooters. The patented Mag-Prime Ignition System uses a large rifle primer that is press-fit into the breech plug using a patented primer installing tool. With a double lug bolt assembly locked up behind a press fit primer, no back blast is possible. This muzzleloader is designed for the high pressures of modern smokeless powder. DO NOT USE SMOKELESS POWDER IN ANY OTHER MUZZLELOADING FIREARM AND USE ONLY LOADS SPECIFIED BY BAD BULL IN BAD BULL MUZZLELOADERS.

When it comes to ammunition, Joyce recommends his 300 grain jacketed bullet which requires no plastic sabot and produces an awesome 5600 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle and releases just under 2000 ft/lbs of energy at 300 yards. Traveling at 2900 fps and a 225 yard zero, this bullet would be 3” high at 100 yards, 1.5” high at 200 yards, and 8” low at 300 yards.

Bad Bull currently offers two stock versions. The 700 model starts at $2,950 and the XR model starts at $3,450.

Custom models are available.
